WHERE LEARNING IS FUN

More

Ashram

Clean, well ventilated, separate dormitories for boys and girls provides a secure environment. Monitoring and care by Male and Female Acharyas in the respective dormitories and Ashram provide a sense of belonging and family to the children. Ashram life aims to train the children to become ‘self reliant’ in every aspect by cleaning their utensils after meals, to maintaining their rooms and washing their clothes.

Yoga

Since our school is based on the ancient Ashram system, the usual day for the Ashramites (campus residents) begins at 4.30 am with Yoga followed by exercise. The importance of getting up before Dawn, meditating and practicing breathing and physical exercises is embedded in the psyche of the residents for their overall well being.

Vegetables and Fruits

Spread over almost an Acre the campus houses one of the largest Greenhouse in Bihar. Organic manure is used to grow a variety of seasonal vegetables to be served to the residents. With over 400 fruit bearing trees of Mango, Lemon, Banana, Papaya, Guava and Orange, the campus strives to provide healthy green living.

Mess

Organic food and milk are provided at a fully functional well ventilated Mess. It serves all the residents with three nutritious main meals of the day, as well as healthy early morning, mid-day and evening snacks and Milk at bedtime. Ours is a 100% Vegetarian campus and 80% organic vegetables and fruits are grown on the campus. Milk and Dairy needs are met by our own milking Cows.

Sports

An engaging and rewarding day schedule for Ashramites include the right mix of academic and extra-curricular activities such as Karate, Horse Riding, Badminton, Athletics and Music. Focused and special training with proper diet is provided by trained in house Acharyas for upping the stamina, game, style and technique of children, in music and sports.

Swadhyay

An integral part of the learning culture in the Ashram is the practice of self learning or Swadhyay. Trained and experienced Acharyas conduct and supervise evening and early morning Swadhyay classes that aim to make the children self reliant and encourage them to ask questions. Special focus is given on spoken English and Hindi during evening Swadhyay.
